How fast should the weight come off using 30mg of Phentermine?
I am 245.4 pounds. I am taking Phentermine, eating a healthy diet (whole grains, veggies, lean meat, ect.) and I am exercising at least 30 min 5-6 days a week. Usually my exercising consists of walking, because at my size it is something that I am able to do without too much distress. I am also swimming a couple of times a week.

Also, I am parking in a different parking lot at work, so I have to walk father to get in to work and I am walking the stairs as much as possible.

I really dont know how fast you will lose but I do think you are doing the right things. From what I have seen results vary be the individual. Dont get discouraged if the pounds arent going as fast as you like. You will get there.

I have to agree with Cyn. We can't tell you how fast you should be losing
the pounds, since it varies so much between different people.

All I can say is that you're putting in a great effort so far, and it will certainly
pay off for you. Exercising 5-6 times per week? That's great!

Keep up the good work and you will succeed.

I have been doing that for a couple of months and not losing any weight (but getting toned) that is why the doc put me on Phen.

to burn fat you must have a calorie deficit below your maintenance level. you could workout and run 24/7 and not loose 1 IBS of fat if you don't have a calorie deficit. for optimal fat loss you want around a 20-30% less than your maintenance level, this can differ from person to person, but you get the idea. if you don't running will make you healthyer but you will not loose a pound of fat.

Well, For some of us it does not seem to be as easy as that. I started exercising and reduced my calorie intake and was not losing. Metabolism has to play a role too.

I've been on phentermine for about 3 weeks now, don't know if it really worked or not for me and I'm scared b/c I really need something to work for me. I can tell a difference in my jeans (they're so baggy in the leg) and my coworkers tell me they can tell in my face but my scale says I'm still the same weight....

I'm not sure but maybe b/c I used to take xenedrine before they got rid of the phen like ingredient maybe that is causing my body to have "memory" or something.. is that possible?

I want to lose 60 pounds and when I see that other have lost 20 in a month I get super discouraged

if you can see a difference but there's no difference on your scale, that should be an indication that you are losing fat and building muscle. Personally I believe that is a much better indicator of your health improvement. I have known many people who lost whole sizes before they ever lost any noticeable weight. After a while the weight started dropping. If you can tell the difference in the fit of your clothes, I'd say you are doing fantastic. Gongratulations!!! =D> :gg2:
