Good point about the fiber, Ian. American, in particular, have a lot of GI (gastro-intestinal) problems from a lack of fiber. I'm a huge advocate of oatmeal in the morning, even those on a low carb diet can afford half a cup of oatmeal (and not the instant kind) with it only having 26 grams of carbs and 5 of those can be subtracted due to the fiber content.

Ace, you might try blending up 1/2 cup of oatmeal in your protein shake.

I had to adjust my breakfast during the last 4 weeks while taking my strength and conditioning class because of it being so early. I had 1 cup of oatmeal, 1 scoop of MRM protein powder, 8 ounces of ff milk, and 20 ounces of water all blended together and shot down about 3 ounces of fish oil liquid.

I eat the kashi go lean fiber cereal and its really good plus its pure fiber & Protein. and when you spinkle smart balance and some splenda its to die for I promise. It doesnt taste healhty I sware. Also Trader Joes has these really good protein shakes, well actully its powder protein chocolate or vanilla, and strawberry. You mix 2 scoops per 8oz of water or milk or soy it mixes with anything, and its really good tasting to, its the only protein shake that I have had that doesnt taste like cardboard infused with loads of vitamins and its really cheap to. Plus you get I think like 23grams of protein per serving and less then 100 calories. Its just the Trader JOes brand protein shakes in the mix tubs.
