I was never much of a breakfast eater, but now I try to have something everyday. The most I can choke down is a SF yogurt with some grape nuts in it. I drink water with it, because I do not like milk.

Do you think I am eating enough? I know that breakfast is important.

Glad to know I am not the only one who is a breakfast skipper. I have also been trying to eat something--even if it is a shake in the morning. It is very hard for me because I have such a habit of not having anything. Sometimes I only have some fruit. I dont know if there is a certain amount of foo you should have--but at least we are trying.

What kind of shake do you have? Maybe having a Slimfast shake or a meal replacement bar would work for me.

I tried the atkins shakes--I can get them down but I dont really like them--I like WW smoothies but they can be pricey. I havent had slimfast in awhile. there are also store brand ones I havent tried. I even thought about getting medifast shakes or optifast--they have them on e-bay.

Breakfast?? What's that? I am lucky if I eat once or twice a day. I am not a very big eater, never have been. One of my favorite things, that I will have if I can find good coupons for them are the Dannon Yogurt smoothie drinks, they taste good, have a lot of nutrients and are relatively low fat and low sugar.

I had a peice of wheat toast with some natural peanut butter on it this morning. I think this may be my new breakfast of choice. It did not leave me with a queasy feeling like many other things do.

I eat oat's, casein shake, and part of an apple for breakfast. try to eat 5-6 small meals a day remember. this will keep your metebolism up and prevent your body going into starvation mode which it will hold on to fat like a retards love for calenders, and once you start eating agen and you must do that just so you know. you will gain a lot of fat back if not more. not eating will work for short term goals. if you don't eat and just keep doing that. you eventually get sick and be hospitalized, or develop a number of health problems, which most likley have no idea what the causes are. This is why multi-vitamin's are very important to dieters, seeing as your not getting all your nurtients from foods (eating less than your maintenance). the multi-vit will allow you to safely extend your diet time before you must eat normaly agen for a while. so a rough guess is: diet for 2-3 months then eat normaly for 2-3 weeks and repeat. or with multi diet for 5-7 months then eat normaly for 3-4 weeks and repeat if needed. also EFA's fit in there as well (read my template for that one)

ok back to the subject of keeping your metabolism up. this will also help you tremendously in burning fat. so eat every 2-3 houres, have protein in every meal, as well as other stuff. remeber small meals so you keep your calorie in a deficit.
slim fast is ok, but home made stuff is much better for you, natural peanutbutter is a great start, now get oat's, chicken, none fat cottage cheese, vegies.
and a word of wisdom that I tell alot of people, if you have no cookies in your house you can't eat any, so toss out or stop buying sweets, don't think so much about not eating sweets try thinking about not buying sweets. if you force yourself to not buy somthing, there is no way you can eat it.

I kinda follow Phal's breakfast-oats! Generally, I eat an apple while waiting for my oatmeal and eggs to boil (the eggs are eatin later as a meal with a couple servings of veggies and fish oil). Then it's a cup of FF milk, 1 cup of oatmeal, and berries (blue or strawberries). I skip the multi-vitamin with the oatmeal because a portion of it will bond with the fiber and pass through before being absorbed.

Speaking of fiber-if you guys are not getting it enough, it seriously hurts your potential to rid yourself of stored fat.
