I'd love to know what other people are eating.. Im really new to this whole diet thing.. Ive never really had healthy eating habits.. I've always been a starv all day and then snack all night typea girl.. And i'm really trying to change that. I never eat breakfast barely eat lunch if so its soup or a salad or chips.. So i'd loe to hear what others eat through out the day so I can take advantage and pick up good things at the grocery store.

Thanks for any input
Amy

I think you have to pick things you like, I mean tons of things are healthy and there are a lot of ways to eat to lose weight. It depends on what foods you think you can stick to and feel happy.

I eat a lot of salad, but I like salad so I do not feel like I am really giving up much. I put grilled chicken in it and cheese. I eat a lot of veggies, but I follow a sort general low carb way of eating. Turkey, chicken and fish are allowed and I eat plenty of veggies. It works for me. But other people like more fruit or more grains. You have to decide how you can eat.
I mean these days they have all the frozen dinners..or soups and snacks you could eat in a hurry and stick to a low fat , low cal. menu easy.So much is out there if you really look, the options are just huge

With the phen. I really have to actually make myself eat.

yes thats exactly what i'm following. I love this diet. Its the only thing that has given me the results I'm looking for. Its so easy to follow especially with phen. If you follow this diet you will loose weight no dout about it. Its healthy and give you ample energy. I wish I found this diet before.
Well micheal thurmand has a book called the 6 day body makeover and thats what i'm following and have been for the past month. I've lost 25 pounds so far in about 1 /12 months. You just need to make sure you have all of the food for the week and keep it with you.
Excersice 1 hour a day walking
and drink 100oz of water.

I don't think my stomach could handle egg whites with grapefruit first thing every morning... the diet itself requires strict discipline, little convenience. Still, if you are desperate to lose weight in a hurry, it's better than starving.

I'm an office worker, so I nibble on nutri-gain bars, bananas, apples, an occasional half-a-bagel at my desk in the morning. Some weeks I'll bring in fat-free milk and cheerios. It's usually a Lean Cuisine for lunch, because it's cheaper than going out, they're low-cal low-fat, quick, and yummy. For dinner, and I'll try to take this advice, lean meat, heavy on the veggie, light on the carbs. Fat-free popcorn makes a good crunchy snack, sugar-free popcicles, and fat-free icecream are my faves.

Everyone says less carbs and dairy to loose weight. But you still need a balanced diet for the long haul. (For the make-over diet, consider a calcium supplement.)

I am doing a modified Atkins vs George Stella's low carb diet. Work well, but slow.
I have lost about 26 pounds for about 6-8 months.
I am NOT exsercising ( I know, I should ) but I really don't have any time - full time work, full time graduate school and full time mother.
Plus, taking care of my parents is a full time job too.
When I have some small time off - I like to walk. I enjoy walking when I can.
Anyways, my basic meal schedule looks like this:
Fried eggs amlet : mixed with one spoon of cheese salsa , two strips of turkey beacon fried, COFFEE
Lunch: soup, nice bowl, fruit, yogurt ( low carb - 5 carb per one- yoplant, light)
Snack: jello , sugar free with whipped topping, 1 large spoon ( 3-5 carbs)
Dinner: option one: large salad, meat ( any variations) and cup of COFFEE
before bedtime: yogurt or fruit or mixed nutts about 20 ( 5-10 carbs)
I use Splenda generously and I drink water like crazy.

Also, I do not deprive myself from Hershey's dark chocolate - I love the thing!
I dont do it often, but I cannot say "no" to it.

The key element here is portions and cotrol.
It is ALL in your BRAIN, dear , smile.
