Well...I have 3 strategies...
The first one is not based on reality but rather on what I know is right. I want to eat an average of 1200-1300 cals a day and stagger that during the week (helps to stall metabolism from slowing). In addition I will do 45 min of cardio 4 times a week min and weight train at least 3 times a week. I'll continue being a vegetarian and I'll make sure to eat at least 5 fruits/veggies a day. I'll take the Phen as an aid to my weight loss but will use the time to learn how to properly fuel my body.
The second one is closer to the reality on where I am now (traveling 4 days a week, working 60 hour weeks). I eat a breakfast taco or it's equivalent every morning. At around 2pm I start wanting food. Since I skipped lunch (can't take the time) am it's so late, I don't want leave the building so I either get something (mini donuts or popcorn) from the vending machine or I get a Nutrigrain bar that I keep in my desk. I tend to leave work around 6 or so and go to my room and work. I then will head to the gym intending on getting an hour of exercise in. Instead I feel so bad b/c there is so much work to do that after 30 minutes I cave in and go up to the room. Then I will work for about another 3-4 hours. During that time if I get hungry then I'll order room service (if I am REALLY hungry) and get a salad or the pizza (not many veggie options). If I am not too bad then I hit the mini bar for Butterfingers or Pretzels. This is not healthy at all and I am disgusted with myself b/c I am putting myself behind my work. And I wonder why I am stalled. I've also been drinking a lot.
The third strategy is how I am going to transition from strategy 2 to strategy 1. On Sundays I am going to go shopping for fruit. I am throw some apples, etc. into my suitcase and bring fresh fruit with me. A while ago I did Nutrisystem and I still have over a months worth of food sitting in my cabinets. I am going to also bring enough meals to cover at least lunch and a dinner or 2. Then when I am traveling I am going to have my breakfast taco for breakfast. I'll go to the cafe next door for a salad for lunch. When I get hungry at 2 I'll have a nurtisystem meal. this should fill me up more than the vending machine. At night I'll have fruit or order a salad from room service. I will not, I repeat, not get the key to my mini bar so I won't even be tempted. Over the weekend I will not have more than 2 drinks in one night. I will do my Yoga Booty Ballet at least twice when in Houston and I will continue to do at least 30 minutes a night or two or three while in San Antonio. I will also continue to do research on what proper nutrition in. Eventually I am hoping to be able to transition completely into Strategy #1.
WHEW! I haven't plotted this out at all...
