How many grams of sugar should one shoot for on a daily basis based on a 1000 cal/day diet? Should I aim for an even lower amount to keep the weight loss moving at a decent rate, or does it not matter because I'm only taking in 1000 cals/day? I was comparing the sugar in different low cal snacks. I realized that my favorite snack was @ 110 cals but 20 grams of sugar. I then saw the Lite and Fit Yogurt @ 60 cals and 2 grams of sugar, which I bought instead. Am I micromanaging my food too much? I do like Splenda, but not everything I like is made with Splenda. Any input would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
