what are stones? u mean rocks? and if so what do you do with them? maybe this is a stupid question but i have no ideal what you are talking about :(

For some reason a majority of dudes and dudets here in the UK use the term 'stone' when weighing themselves. Not sure of the origions of it, off to look on wikipedia, and will report back.

Although I use both Stones and lbs, dependant on who I am talking to.

(my nice digital scale does lb, kg, and stone)

I have Dyscalculia (math dyslexia) so it is all a lil strange for me at the best of times. Anyways I have just found this link (just remove the spaces)

If you are in between...I think the calculation is
14.1 stone = 1 pound. I have three different scales in my bathroom and they all drive me nuts!

I thought the UK used kilograms. What's a stone compared to a kilogram? This reminds me of "Pulp fiction" when they talk about the metric system!
