I fount this on skinnyondiets.com, don't know much about it myself but maybe this will help. After reading this article I wouldn't recommend taking it. It sounds very dangerous to me.

In recent years, the bodybuilding world, and now the dieting community, has been buzzing about a substance called Clenbuterol. It was initially developed to treat breathing disorders like asthma in animals, as it has been shown to function as a bronchodilator. Although it is sometimes prescribed to humans for these purposes, it is perhaps more commonly used to treat allergic respiratory disease in horses. Needless to say, this is a very powerful drug.

Clenbuterol, among athletes is often used because of its ability to enhance “muscle gain” and stimulate thermogenesis, or fat burning. Professional athletes initially began using it as a treatment for performance-induced asthma, but the performance benefits were soon discovered, and the drug became popular for a whole new set of reasons. As like with virtually all anabolic steroids, Clenbuterol carries some major risks, and for this reason has been banned from professional sports. Now some in Hollywood have begun using this drug. In this review we will examine some of the long and short-term effects of this substance.

Ingredients At A Glance
Clenbuterol is commonly found in salt form as clenbuterol hydrochloride. It is also known by the trade name, Ventipulmin.

Ingredients In Focus
The actions of Clenbuterol are perhaps most easily likened to ephedrine and ma huang. It stimulates the production and secretion of catabolic hormones, such as dopamine and adrenalin, which help to the smooth muscles of the bronchial tree, thus improving breathing. In addition, these hormones also help to increase thermogenesis, thereby enhancing the body’s fat and calorie burning capabilities. Bodybuilders are especially fond of this effect, as it helps to accentuate the “cuts” that are so important in their sport.

Another “appealing” effect of this drug is its ability to increase aerobic capacity and oxygen transportation. This makes it quite attractive to endurance athletes who need to power through long stretches, without getting winded.

Diet Lifestyle
As with all performance enhancing drugs, Clenbuterol has some serious drawbacks as well. Although an increase in fat burning is quite desirable among athletes and just about anyone looking to improve their body, this drug may also increase the burning of protein in the body, which can result in muscle depletion. Bodybuilders looking to enhance their overall tone by losing fat may sacrifice gains in size.

Of course, there are even more serious side effects to be taken into account. Clenbuterol stimulates the central nervous system and elevates blood pressure, which can place quite a strain on the cardiovascular system. In fact, studies have shown that long-term use of this drug can cause an infiltration of collagen fibers into the heart walls, causing the muscle to stiffen. This not only reduces cardiac output, but it actually puts the user at risk for arrhythmias and arrest.

Positives • Has been shown to smooth the muscles of the bronchial tree, easing asthma symptoms when used as directed

Negatives • May cause muscle degeneration
• Banned in virtually all sports
• May strain the cardiovascular system
• Is becoming popular among the Hollywood crowd

Final Thoughts
Some in the sports industry argue that exercise-induced asthma is a common condition among athletes, so common that over half of all Olympic athletes take some sort of medication for it, including Clenbuterol. That said, most commissions are becoming increasingly intolerant of drug use of any kind, and have penalized or even expelled players who have been caught using this substance.

This drug has now even found its way into weight conscious Hollywood. It is unfortunate that professional athletes and stars are under so much pressure to perform that they would risk their health with a medication that is perhaps best used only on horses. We believe that the risks involved with using Clenbuterol greatly outweigh the benefits. Be advised, that there are natural formulas on the market, as opposed to drugs, which can provide proven and safe fat burning abilities.

I agree reesedebi3! I also read that celebrities, who make things 'famous' by using it, are never prescribed it for more than 14 days. It does not sound like a good choice.

I know a guy who has really low bodyfat % and uses Clenbuterol to increase his metabolism just a bit. This is a really minor thing though and I wouldn't try it if you have a lot to lose. A diet pill like Phentermine (prescription through your doctor) or Phentramin (available online) is much more effective for losing a large amount of weight.

What is the difference between Phentermine and Phentramine? I thought that people were just spelling it wrong!

They are all so different. One letter difference is all some different medicines have and it's downright scary. I always have thought all the big manufacturers should ban names that are easily confused by the laymen and many times by the pharmacists as well! Celexa or Celebrex? Dioxin or Diogen? Shheeze, Loiuse!
Everyone agrees phentermine is the best but it is illegal to buy over the net without a doctor's written prescripton. And the companies selling it are breaking the law. There may be a few instances where they can do so on selected sites, but I don't know of them. That does not stop most people from
ordering. The administrator of this website recommends an herbal alternative calle Phentramin. I have heard mixed reports. I did try Hoodia myself and give it an "F".
