15 mg phen

Has anyone taken 15mg phentermine? My doctor recommended this dose because of some heart problems(right bundle branch block and arrythmia). I am 217, and only 5ft 4in and really need to get my weight off. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, Kris! Maybe you can talk him into 37.5 tablets, cut in half. That would save a lot of money and be 18 mg....I have heard many say they had good results from that dose!

HOw much is the 37.5? The 15mg phen is really cheap. I am in NC and its $18 for 30 pills

Im sure that there are people who take it and have it work, the hard part is were all differnt and from what i have seen most people who are on 15's ask to be put on 30' or to be put on brakeable 37.5's. I cant say that i have herd alot of good about the 15's, but im sure there are people out there that would completly disagree with me. to each there own. But If you are looking for a faster responce from the phen you might want to ask to be upped, and offer to come in for monitoring untill he feels that its safe. just a seggestion. safty first!

The 15mg are good if they're taken twice a day, morning and mid afternoon. Your doctor could prescribe them to be taken that way if you have a problem with eating at night and if you feel it won't disrupt your sleep. Splitting the 37.5mg. tablet in half,as Susan suggested,could work the same way and it might be more cost effective. Talk to your doctor about it.
