80 pound mark, updated pictures & poll

Thanks everyone who voted and gave me some inspiration...I sent the dress back and ordered something else.

The more I saw the pictures of the dress from the back, I hated it. The sleeves were supposed to be almost elbow length - which is the reason I ordered it.

My search is still on for a dress <sigh> that I really like since I know my husband would love for me to wear a dress - the things we do for the men we love :P

You look great and that black suit with the red shirt makes you look so thin! you look great! keep up the great work and im sure 25 will be cake!

It looked to me as thought you'd said you went off phentermine. So did you get off that and you sarted taking phentramin? If so, what's the difference?

Just wanted to add my two cents - YOU LOOK AMAZING!! The difference is unbelievable. Aside from the obvious differences in our bodies as we lose weight, I think the face is the most amazing. You look so much happier and confident in your after pics. Fantastic job, good for you!

PS, I vote for the pants outfit too, not sure if it's too late.

No one mentioned the shoes!! The shoes are awesome!! I am a total shoe hound. I also like the black and red. But if the dinner is more formal, I would go with the dress. If you feel uncomfortable with your arms get the wrap. Too bad I live so far away, I have a great black Kenneth Cole shawl with black beading on it. It would look great withy your dress.

Now I like the dress I dont see the problem with the arms. But I do like the pants suit too. I would be happy with both of them if I had them LOL. I am like you too dont do dress stuff I dont even have a dress like that in my closet. Dont go any where to wear one. BUT I DO LOVE THE DRESS. Oh and to me you look smaller in the wedding dress now than before I CAN see it in your face. I know what you mean about lbs more than before because I can get in my wedding dress now and I weight more now than the big day. kind of werid to me but it ok i am working on my size and will get there someday LOL

awww thanks

))) everyone - sometimes it's just so frustrating knowing what looks good on your body type at certain points.

When I look in the mirror and see a blemish on my body - it gets blown out of proportion because of my distorted body image I've had for years.

I would much rather have bigger thighs and rear; than a stomach (even if it's from a medical problem like I have) any day.

I finally decided on the dress below - and bought all my accessories for it. (I posted it on another thread also, sorry :P)

Oh, btw...I love the shoes too - I just happeded to find them in the wedding section and had dyed black to match my bag and dress.

I'm having my hair and nails done the week before, and we're getting professional pictures done so when we get back I'll post the ones we had done.

Hi, Girlie! I just reread this thread and am again amazed at (all six of the previous words start with the letter A!)the differences in your photo now comopared to January, 2006. You are just a beautiful gal and you do look stunning in the dress-AND SHOES-you chose.
