I am at a stall and only started losing weight last week! I started the phen and lost about 6 pounds (183 to 177). Then I slowed up on the phen because I was getting to the point where I was incredibly weak. I thought it was due to my new workouts so I didn't workout for 2 days. I then realized it had to be the phen. I've lately been taking 1/2 tab one day and then none the next. I honestly can't tell much of a difference between the days I take it and the days I don't (which is opposite of the first few days when it worked like crazy and I had to force myself to eat). I've also started vitamins and that has helped my energy level (I had ZERO energy on the phen alone!)

Anyway, I have been eating phenomenally. I mean, seriously, I have not even contemplated cheating, that's how good I've been! I can guarentee that my calories have been below 1200 and I have been working out no more than 2 days apart. My water intake has been great...about 96 ounces a day (thanks to my HydraCoach!). SO WHY AM I NOT LOSING WEIGHT? I don't get it! I have NEVER had this happen before. My only thought is that it should be my time of the month soon...but that has never caused problems like this before. I am at a COMPLETE loss! Can anyone give me insight??

Blessings,
Rene

Sometimes our bodies don't loose weight as such, so the scale infuriates us as we get disheartened by going to weigh to find it hasn't moved, whereas other times it moves all too fast and we think $h!t I need to buy new clothes NOW!

I often look at loosing weight in a odd way (well not odd if you know me well as you would just think ' Lea is rambling again')

anyways here is the ramble ...

When you make up a batch of jello it takes up a certain amount of space, but then when it solidifies you will have a hard job trying to get it to take up the same space it did whilst liquid.

Therefore when you loose weight it takes time for your body to redistribute itself to make allowances to rejig itself about into the new smaller space that has been made available.

So don't get disheartend as the scale will move again, and when it does you will be smiling and wondering why you got so stressed with it.

jr- Continue doing what you are doing and I'm quite sure the scale will show a loss next week. 6lbs. in 1 week is a lot. Give your body a chance to adjust and relax. Also, you might consider taking the phentermine every day instead of every other day because your body does get used to it. Most people take a whole tablet. It shouldn't make you feel weak. What kind are you taking?

Rene, keep on doing what you know is right as far as your daily eating and exercising program and the weight WILL come off. Many of us have traveled this same path and are here to tell you YOU CAN DO THIS!
I loved Lea's jello analogy!

You have surely heard me use it before? I have used it a fair bit, as I am a odd person who thinks of things very strangly!

I didnt and kinda dont get it either...but i get the general idea. and the scale will move one day youll just be like hmmm weird it moved, maybe with a bit more excitment. or to me the scale moved fast then stopped but my clothes fit better and better and then it moved again...so it will happen just keep with it

will you do me a favor i hate to say this but just do it and give me 50% trust here OK.....

ok this is what i want you to do for me I was just like you in the begin. my Dr told me to do this and it worked out just great i am down 42 lbs since Nov and down from a 22w to a 14p jeans now.

measure your self thigh butt belly breast write it down then in 2 weeks do it again then 2 weeks later get my idea. but keep doing what you are already doing.

yo my not loss lbs but you will loss inches then when you don't lose inches you will loss lbs. that how i do i will go month with out losing lbs but will loss like 6 to 12 inches easy.

all so pay attention to how your clothes fit you it will make you feel better than getting on the scales or measuring yourself.

see you could be building muscle. here one thing about muscle for every lb of muscle you make is equal to 2 lbs of fat

hope you try this it will work i know it will.
