then i had a 100cal popcorn bag for lunch
and a cousins cheese steak sub for dinner...pretty much my eating has gone to hell....and i need to knock it off and start eating. i have felt that ive been over eating, everything that i look at makes me sick....but i guess when i really look at it...im starving my self. this is a wake up call for me. and i just needed to get it off my chest. thanks for reading!

Cass..we have ALL been there. It is difficult to think of eating for nourishment instead of just eating what's in front of you. Eating a protein and doing so every 3 hours..adding in whole grains, vegetable galore and some fruit will really help.

Sorry I didn't reply before now, I usually only get on here during the week when I am at work because at home DH is always on the computer so I don't get to use it. This weekend however I got on here to see what was up and then when I came to work to reply to some of the posts all the ones I had seen over the weekend were gone.

Anyway, as you know eating is a key element to loosing weight on phen. As Susan said, protein is the best and of course lots of water!! Here is my typical daily eating routine.

Breakfast = Kellogg's Special K Protein Bar (10 g protein) (190 cal)
Lunch = Can of albacore tuna in water (35 g protein)( 175 cal)
Diet pop (whatever flavor I feel in the mood for)
Snack = Reese's Snacksters (2 g protein)(100 cal)
Dinner = Whatever I make, last night I had a plate of lettuce with a chicken breast on top. I also had a few tortilla chips and salsa.

I try to keep my daily caloric intake between 1000-1200 calories. If I go over I don' beat myself up about it, I can't, if I do I get down on myself and that does no good. Don't feel bad when you do something bad, just pick yourself up and try not to do it again. But trust me it happens, I drank way to many beers Saturday and I pigged out Sunday. My weight was up yesterday but I will get it back down.

You have come too far to get down on yourself, we all have so pick your head up and stay true to yourself, you will be fine!

Just remember you can eat a lot-that is a lot of healthy foods. If you were to do the weight watchers plan and use all your points on protein and fiber, you'd be surprised at how much you can actually eat in one day. I usually have a banana and yogurt for breakfast, soup or healthy choice and veggies for lunch and whatever I make my boys or soup for supper. Have you tried the All-Bran Granola Bars? They have a ton of fiber and taste AWESOME and come is chocolate or peanut butter. Who can say no to that? Danactiv drinkable yogurt is very good, too. I use it to take my pill. That way I have something in me. If you eat too little, your body doesn't get what it needs and when you go off the meds, you will need to continue to eat very little in order to keep it off. That is why Weight Watchers is a good program. You do not have to deprive yourself from anything.

Cassandra-Sorry I didn't reply either but I didn't think you were asking for advice. A little sympathy perhaps and maybe a scolding for eating that Cheese Steak Sub!!! Shame on you! (was it good?) I know watching what you eat all the time gets BORING and putting together healthy little meals can become tedious until after a while NOTHING looks good but what's the alternative? Moo-moos at the beach? Hmmm...? All you can do is keep trying and be as positive as you can. You've come SO far...you should be happy.

Hi Cassandra - you are doing so well ! You are right though - you have to eat more and make healthier choices to stay on target. I usually have to make myself eat breakfast which is normally a cup of high fiber cereal with some flax seed thrown in. Snack at 10 is a oz. of cabot 50 % light cheese and maybe an apple. Lunch is usually always either a fruit salad or a regular salad with chicken or fish and dinner is a protein i.e., turkery burger or fish or chicken and salad and half a baked potato. I even have a 2 pts. weight watchers ice creme sandwich many nights after dinner. As you can see - I am not starving myself but I do exercise every day for at least 1 half hour but more likely than not - it is 45 minutes to 1 hour. Hang in there girl - you can do it - actually you are doing it !

much love & GOD Bless,

Kathy

Cassandra,
Hi I know what you mean. For the last 2 months its been white chocolate kitkats and twix bars. Little debbie carmel bars. About 6 or so a day. cereal or oatmeal. Not feeling so good though so I need to eat right and do it now. Your not alone.
