Ok, newbie here.I picked up my Phentermine at the pharmacy yesterday. I took my daily dose at 7:45am, it is now 10:40am and I am flying. It would be great to have this much energy everyday. How long until my body balances out and I don't get this energy rush anymore?

I think that it differs for everyone...for me it took about 2 weeks. I still get that energy rush in the morning, but it wears off sooner. I am actually really glad about that because I had a horrible time getting to sleep at first.

When the energy started to wear off, I started taking a B-12 supplement, and that has helped quite a bit also...you might ask your doctor about it.

Best of luck with your weight loss!!! You are going to do awesome!

Another question, yesterday was my first day. Last night I got a fever of 103 and was out of commission. Is this a side effect or did I get the flu? I have also had diarhea since yesterday at 10am.

Hi, Tiff and welcome to the Forum! I love your name! Hard to imagine now because I am so old (54) but my husband(63) and I used to ride motorcycles together. COOL!

I don't think any of the reactions to Phentermine are fever or diarrhea. 103* is awfully high, Honey. Do you have someone taking care of you?

Fever is down to 100 now but my butt is still very active. I must have caught a bug. Last night though when I was dillusional from the high fever, I was watching my 3 kids AND my friends 3 kids. Well, they destroyed my house!! My husband is Air Force reserve and was gone this weekend on a training. The oldest two are 11 years old but they were more interested in playing on the internet than watching the two 3 year olds destroy my bathroom with 3 rolls of toilet paper, 10 gallons of water, and a bottle of soft soap. Mom called this morning and I told her about my temp and what the kids did and she was mad that I didn't call her and have her come over and help me. Oh well, too late now. House is back in order after a day of cleaning, but I still feel like crap. Good thing the hubby is home now. He can take care of everyone!!

I went and got a B complex vitamin today.

I swear I eat more vitamins than food. I take a multi vitamin, cal/mag/zinc, and now the B complex. At least I won't be lacking anything. The multi covers most of the vitamins and nutrients and the B complex makes up the rest.

Thanks for the tip!

Feeling a lot better this morning. The "butt problems" ended last night. I hope for good, if not I now have some immodium to help take care of it. Good thing though, all that poopin' has made me lose around 8lbs in two days. I bet I am dehydrated.

Funny thing, since beginning the Phen, I have been waking up at 6am every morning and not feeling groggy. Normally, I fight the alarm clock at 6:30am and then I am not totally awake until I have at least a full cup of coffee. Last couple mornings up at six and ready to run!

Well off to make coffee and start my day. Work to do!!
