I am a little frustrated...
I have been on phen for 3 weeks, I have lost 12 lbs, but the last week I have not lost an ounce. Yesterday I was up 2 pounds, this morning I was back down, but tonight back up.
I have not cheated one time...I am drinking my water better now, and staying at about 1,000 to 1,100 calories a day.
Exercising about 30 minutes a day.
Am I doing anything wrong? I have felt a little stopped up, so took a stool softner tonight.
I am being so good, and can't imagine, why the scale stopped moving already...
thanks
Laurie

I'm sure it's only temporary. 12 lbs. in 3 weeks is a lot. Give yourself a little break from the scale-just a couple of days. As long as you keep doing what you're doing you will definitely lose weight. Keep going!

i think everyone has these little pauses. and then one day youll step on the scale and things will have done something. maybe the scales not moving but do your clothse feel different? and also someone correct me if you think im wrong...but i think that your calorie intake could be a little low. i would look in to that more on what you should be to be losing weight but no to make your body confused....

Not to be crass but have you being going regular to the bathroom. Maybe you need to do a cleanse. I use Colon cleanse once in awhile.
Maybe you need to that or a fruit juice fast with salad and give your body a jump start.
Don't do it if you feel weak or light headed. Just be sensable.

Thanks, I have thought about the cleanse issue. I did take 3 stool softners last night. I have not been going as much as usual, but thought, it was most likely because I was eating lots less.
If you do a cleanse, what is the best way to do it?
Cassandra, yes, I know I have lost inches, because I am measuring as well. I think I am scale dependent! Probably a good idea to put in the closet for a few days!
Thanks again for the help.

You can get colon cleanse at Walmart. No cramping.
Or super Cleanse at the Health Food store. Or Smooth Move Herbal Tea at the Health Food.
It sounds logical don't you think.
Take care

Hi, Laurie! I am anxious to hear about the loss of the 2 pounds your scale told you had gained. How is your weight now?
Our bodies are beautifully designed machines. We put in the right fuel and more than likely they will respond. You may feel constipated because you need more fiber in your diet. Barring an illness or temporary response of the body to something else, like taking iron supplements, eating and exercising the right way will prevent any future problems.
Remember to exercise a little every single day even if only for 2 minutes one day; it's the routine that counts.
Choose complex carbs over simple ones, which means eat lots of vegetables, fruits and whole grains instead of white flour, no white potatoes, no white rice, no cookies, cakes, candies, etc. Try to add these in:
Berries: Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries have few calories and they pack a powerful punch.
Citrus Fruit: Rich in vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber, citrus fruits not only taste great but they are essential for normal growth and development.
Eat all the crunchy veggies you want. Dieticians give crunchy veggies a perfect ten in nutrition. When it comes to weight loss they are simply hard to beat. Try fresh snap beans, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, etc. Add Romaine lettuces, sweet potatoes, brown rice, air-popped popcorn, beans, greens of every kind, squashes, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, bell peppers, etc. Look at your produce aisle at the grocery and you will see so many offered.
If you are concerned about the variety, choose by color. Light greens, dark greens, yellows, oranges, reds, etc. Keep colorful plates and have confidence you are eating a nourishing variety.
You are going to do just great and I can't wait to hear your update~

Thanks Susan..
Good news to report I weighed this morning and I was back down the 2 pounds plus 2 more!
So officially 184 this morning. Yippee.
I guess my body was just being weird. I am going to add more fiber because do think I am having an issue there.
Thanks again...
