I am really interested in this. HCG is the hormone that is produced when you become pregnant. It is what makes a pregnancy test turn positive, the increase in your system. I would be VERY interested in knowing how it would help me lose weight (not that I would try it) but when ever this chick starts producing HCG on her own she blows up!! LMAO HCG injections are also given when you hyperstimulate your ovaries to do an egg retrival for IVF.

HCG=Human chorionic gonadotropin and is a PEPTIDE Hormone NOT a growth hormone! I have been reading on here and see where a few are calling it a growth hormone and it is in no way shape or form GROWTH hormone.

Please I beg of you do not try these HCG shots. I was on them for 3 perscriptions. Three weeks into my first perscription I developed head aches. Needless to say I am now at home recovering from a brain surgery for my tumor. I do not know what the future holds for me but I do know dying is not worth 14 pounds. Yes my tumor was diagnosed as a childhood tumor that grew and then hemoraged. This has been a complete nightmare.

Ali, thank God you're around to share your story. It's good that each one who posted here carried a few cups of knowledge to those of us who need the reminder.

On one hand, I am completely sad you have a tumor. On the OTHER, I consider it good to be removed--the quicker, the better!

Please update and take good care of yourself!

Hello and welcome !!! If you happen to pop back in again you should go and post a introduction of yourself in the meet and Greet section. So thus everyone can give you a proper welcome. There are some quite interesting topics that go on, on here, I agree, some very educational.

ttyl c.c. Nice to have you aboard.

Yikes and double Yikes !!! Thanks for sharing your Story and I want be trying those shots that's forsure. I'm so sorry you had to go through such an awful experience.

No and it's certainly not worth it just for a few lbs. I suggest anyone with this or fibroid or any kind of condition such as this not do it.

Do any and all ressearch on anything you may want to put in your body because you never know if something like this may happen to anyone of us.

Godbless and hope all is better for you now. ttyl c.c.

There is NO evidence that HCG causes tumors!! If someone has a pre-existent tumor they should not take appettite suppressants such as PHENTERMINE to alter their brain chemicals either! I posted sometime ago I was on hcg and almost got crucified as DANGER by the forum members! Danger as opposed to what? Taking a chemical that alters your brain chemicals to make you not hungry? I am certain that phentermine and ANY FDA approved drug has its side effects but folks at Phenforum are quick to disregard that! After many attempts of mine to lose including with phentermine I finally lost on hcg and am able to keep the weight off for good. There is a method to hcg and one should be very well informed and take a full body exam before starting the program. People died from it? People die from Aspirin/Ibuprofen consumption every year by the 1,000s and no one talks about it, ephedra killed ppl as well because it was used irresponsibly and I am sure ppl died from Phen/Fen and other appettite suppressants but the numbers of deaths get suppressed or hard to find. So please, be realistic get your stuff together and stop glorifying the FDA!!!
