HCG injection

Hi there... I go to a local clinic and I weigh in, get my B-12 injection, talk to the DR about my loss and anything and then leave with my RX for Phentermine.

Well, they told me they are going to be getting HCG injections by the end of the month. I googled this and found some interesting information. Is anyone here getting the HCG injection?

There are several members that get the HCG injection that I've seen post about it... hopefully they will notice your post and give you some info. Do you plan on getting it after reading the "interesting information" that you found when you googled it? Good luck with it and let us know how it works for you if you do decide on getting it

I heard some nasty stuff about HCG. But I guess if you can find a doctor who is willing........just so many side effects. Steroid usage makes me very uneasy but that is just me.

I've googled HCG injections and have found nothing bad... a lot of it has to do with infertility but the diet injection is a smaller dose only once a week. It's not a steriod. I'll let you know what happens...

Some people have died from it. It can cause heart attack.

Nothing like a grand ol' heart attack.. Anything that is injected gives me the chills. The crap they (pharm. companies) put in children's immunizations (to bind them together) are amazing these days. Scary, really scary.

Holy crap.... HCG injection isn't the injection that they are giving for weight loss.... like the combo of vitamins and all..... sorry.... this one I have NOT heard about. I'd listen to Ian and Nylon on this one!

The weightloss clinic I go to offers it and I have done a lot of research on it. No where have I found anything about heart attacks. If you have a link that you can share with me about the nasty side effects or where people have died, I will gladly share it with the clinic I go to. But forgive me if I find it hard to believe since so many OB/GYN's use it for infertility. I do appreciate your input and I will share whatever you send me with the clinic doctor.

In the 90's, the fen-phen combination caused heart problems... my mom being one who has sufferred. She lost a lot of weight but now all 4 heart valves need to be repaired or replaced due to primary pulmonary hypertension. She received 2 big settlements from the drug company and the prescribing doctor but she is still dealing with the effects.
