I weight myself through out the day, in the morning it will say one thing and than 10 min later another. I need to stop weighing myself.. LOL LOL Can some one tell me when and how to weigh myself. What days or everyday, and what times... etc..
I started the phen-d and really do not notice any difference in anything, I am still so hungry.. lol
And advice would be great, also about excersising, i cannot do much due to bad back, anyone have a few tips as to losing this pudge belly??? Thanks..
P.S I am also taking aloe gel 3 times a day 2 tbs each for ibs and ulcer..

Hello,
They say you weigh the least first thing in the morning. Also, to only weigh yourself once a week. But I weigh myself every morning after I pee. LOL
I have lost this weight by taking Phen. , drinking lot's of water, (100 oz/day) and walking my butt off. I still have a ways to go but have concord the first 30 in a short amount of time.
Good luck to you on your short journey. Don't worry if you want to get there- YOU WILL !!

Hey missy...how long have since you started..I noticed you said 30 lbs in a short amount of time. Just curious...Ive only lost 8lbs in 2 weeks...so thats good, only you cant tell Ive lost anything...that sux!

I lost 21 the first month. I started May 28. This is month number 2 and I go to the doctors tonight. Wish me luck. I think I might have lost another 10. I Hope.

For some people that's hard to do. Not everyone loses weight the same. I was the biggest ever, without being pregnant when I started Phen. 222. Yikes

I also worked very hard. My doctor said I can only stay on Phen if I am losing weight. When I stop losing weight she will take me off of it. I have to see her every month. So I do have some extra motivation that way. Also I worked very very hard. Sounds like your donig some extra stuff too.
Are you drinking plenty of water?? More you drink, the more you pee, and the more you Lose !

Oh don't feel bad No one beside my hubby, notices my weight loss. Or at least they just don't tell me. A little jealous- I think. Oh well so be it. I know that I went from a size 18 to 14 so that makes my day !!

To weight yourself correctly missy pretty much covered it but I'll still add my two cents in. Once a week is better however we do have alot of addicts on this board to the scale.


Not me of course I only weigh once a month.

Upon wakeing after the bathroom before anyhing to drink or eat and in the buff. Use the same scale each time and do not weigh yourself at night because you could be as much as 5 lbs heavier.

Exercises in the pool would probably be perfect for you since you can't do much. ttyl c.c.

I so agree! Weigh naked! Early! ALONE! Take off all jewelry, clothing, nail polish, hair do-dads, etc...every bit counts. We had one gal that weighed her clothing and jewelry and it all weighed 3 lbs!

With the IBS and ulcer, you must be particularly easy on your tummy and careful that you not take irritating meds alone.One thing that I hear about easing some of the IBS problems is shredded coconut. I could easily O.D. on that!Have you ever tried it?

Susan I have a question. I weighed myself in the morning before I went to the doctors and I weighed 192 and when I got to the doctors that evening at 4pm I weighed 198. So I understand about weighing less in the morning but which weight do I put on this site, if I weigh once a week and only go to the doctors once a month?I was really upset that I didn't lose 10 additional lbs. but the ladies on the site help me get over that.
thanks for the advise, a little confused on trying to be honest!

Girl, my advice is ALWAYS...repeat...ALWAYS use the LOWER number. Make sure to use the same scale in the same room (humidity can make a difference) at the same time of day(air pressure and tummy contents less likely to vary), on the same floor(scales read differently on rugs and tiles). After a night's sleep and a healthy (!) "void" and as naked as you can get, at the same spot, once a week.....that is the number to use.
Even then, clock the TREND, not the exact numbers. It may look like this: 155, 156, 152, 154, 155, 153, 152, 147which would show a loss of 8 pounds in an 8 week period. Excellent loss, but discouraging looking, week to week. It is GREAT to keep it written down, so make yourself a big chart!
