Ok, I don't get it.... I thought that I was eating all the right things or whatever but why do I always feel hungry a few hours later after eating good example
what I had for breakfast today

1 double fiber whole wheat English Muffin
1 egg
1 grapefruit

2 hours later I was starving.... this is an on going cycle for me through out the day finally i get so hungry by the end of the day I over load any advice?

Your hunger sounds a bit like mine...The whole grains and proteins will help in keeping your hunger signals from your blood sugars from smacking you upside your head for a couple hours, but you will need to add some fats to make it last another hour. They are the slowest to digest.

The fruit you ate as a part of this great, nutritious breakfast.... Think you might try having the fruit and a handful of almonds a couple hours after breakfast?

I had to eat every 2-3 every hour I was awake.I still do.
Rather than considering ourselves food-aholics, I think we are...'food-aficionados'.

I know ppl are sick of me posting this but it really worked for me.



This is what I did and it worked for me.

The slimfast I only use for my snacks sometimes and not everyday,never a full blown meal,unless,your in a hurry and don't have time to eat. I've even added in protein shakes instead of slimfast sometimes.

Protein also works to keep you filled up longer. spoon full of peanut butter, boiled eggs,fatfree blueberry yogurt mixed in w/1/2 cup cottage cheese,tuna plain w/10 crackers.

Go look at the beginning of my journal (Called Desperately seeking the old me) and you'll see how I use to list my foods. Unfortunately it was the same stuff most of the time and got quite boring but it worked for me. Iam by no means an expert and still have to learn alot about healthier choices. Some of my foods were pretty good choices but lacked alot of things. So I deffinitely would not suggest anyone to go by my diet at the time but you could incorporate some of it though. Some days I would only get in 700 hundred calories which is bad.

All of these foods are proteins and are good for you.

I would be eating several small meals a day. 5 to 6 small meals a day, Every two to three hours at 200-225 calories a pop. The idea is to keep the metabolism going all day by giving your body a continous amount of fuel to burn. I aimed for 1200 and tried to not go below 1000 or your body will go into starvation mode.

Which means it will think there is no more food to eat and will hold on to any calories longer and your progress will slow down. In other word you have to eat to lose,ha,who would have figured.

Add protein to all your meals and snacks it will keep you filled up longer and less likely to cheat. Drink a minimum of 2 liters water a day which is roughly 66oz's. I would like to see myself at 4 liters 120oz's a day. I hd to build myself up to it. I know water.Blehhhhh!!!!


That would be one gallon a day. One gallon a day will not do you any harm. Just make sure you have a bathroom nearby and your able to use when you need to.lol

Keep a food journal here,home,both or where ever. Keep track of foods,how much,and calories for the day,exercise if any,how long,calories burned,water intake,how much for the day.

Preplan your meals ahead of time,right it all out for the week,pick a day to go shop, like sunday is a good day. Make sure you ate before you go grocery shopping,less likely to buy junk food if your not hungry.

I hate to say this but throw out the soda and forget about the coffee. Even though I've begin this battle again with my old friend and will relapse but for the most part I stay away from soda and caffeine (Chocolate and soda both makes me super b#$chy). I need to stop again before I get addicted again. I did manage to stop for 4 days now thank gosh, but not without a price, but at least before the damage became to severe. It's all bad for you anyways, All I drink is water and skim milk. Did you know caffeine makes you feel hungrier.

do you drink enough?could be your thirsty & not hungry at all.I keep a bottle with me all the time I never seem to get hungry now to point where yesterday it got to 4pm & I realized I hadn't eaten all day which is not good. But it proves my point
