I've been eating Special K in the morning (sometimes - some mornings I don't eat) Steamed Broccoli and tomatoes for lunch, and Special K in the evenings, with FAT FREE milk of course. I lost about 8 or 9 pounds last week and now NOTHING this week. I didn't expect the same loss. I know it's a lot of "water weight" the first week, but NOT EVEN 1 POUND this week! I am so discouraged. There's no way I'm eating too much or the wrong stuff! I'm disgusted!:

Nutrition aside, did you know you can lose MORE weight by eating 1,000 -1,200 calories a day than 300? Your body has a natural reaction to food deprivation and will hold onto the fat as long as it can if you starve it.

Aim for this DAILY:3, 1/2 c. servings of different fat free dairy
3, 1/4 c servings different whole grains
6, 1/2 c. servings different vegetables, no butter, no sauces
3, 1/2 c servings different berries
2,1/4 c servings different meats, poultry, fish
