Today I noticed after taking mesurments that I have a loss and a gain. I've lost 3" off my bust, 4" of my hips and unfourtunately added 2" on my waist. Dang! To date I've lost 20lbs in exactly 5weeks. I walk 4xs a week (briskley) for 30min. Where did the inches come from? I totally am eating healthier, I do however fix turkey breast sandwhices, on multi-gran wheat bread, cheese, mayo and must for lunch. Is that the cause, the bread? HELP! I understand that I need to incoporate some cardio, target my abs and whatever. Any suggestions anyone...

Maybe you can and walk....walk around your home outside...or a treadmill or something...I have read cardio is best for weight loss. Hey you can check out Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople they give a lot of tips on working out and eating...I love that site. Keep us updated!

Hi, Mel. I agree with Spice that a great place is Sparkpeople. Fitday is good, eDiets and several other sites offer wonderful tips.

Weigh, measure, skip the mayo and eat one hearty piece of bread, maybe mustard and turkey, add some tomato and Romaine lettuce. Eat with a half an apple and 8 ounces water. This shoould hold for 3 hours, which is how often you should refuel. Save the cheese and other half apple for the next snack time.

Does that sound good? Eat 5-6 times a day, a total of 1,000-1,200 calories in these units:
3, 1/4c. servings of different fat free dairy
3, 1/6 c servings different whole grains
6, 1/2 c. servings different vegetables, no butter, no sauces
3, 1/2 c servings different berries
2,1/4 c servings different meats, poultry, fish
2, 1/8 c servings different nuts.
DAILY DRINK 60-100 OUNCES WATER

Some loss will soon show. HANG IN!
