anybody added fish oil pills and flaxseed pills to their diet for added weight loss?

my friend told me her friends doctor told her to add flaxseed oil pills and fish oil pills to her diet it boosts the metabolism and adds to faster weight loss? i never heard that before. have you guys? i will add anything to aide in faster weight loss lol!!!!

Can't say I know how it helps, but I do add olive oil and flax to my breads and muffins~

The fish oil gels came in the post. My hubby takes one a day but even though there's barely a smell, when it dissolves, he smells like A TROUT. RAW.

eewwwww!! That would not be a very nice side effect!

Even if it does that, does it make him feel any better/different? Just wondering if it is worth the other icky side effect!!

omg yuck!!! how long was he taking them when he started to smell?? eek, i go out to karaoke alot i cant be smelling like fish!! omg!

Hahaha! I heard THAT!

My pharmacist says each type will have its own aroma. A bit like a garlic gel, even the odorless ones, can smell after they open in the stomach acids, which can be a few minutes. Some can be smelled through the skin, he said, as vegetarians say they can smell a meat-eater's skin!
