Susan is right in telling you what is safe...what you also have to consider is the "big picture". If you keep losing the weight safely, even if it is slower, you are more likely to keep that weight off when you reach your goal.

Look at it this way....when we first start our phen there is plenty of places for us to lose the weight from, like our stored fat for example...as we get closer to our goal, there are less areas to pull the weight from, so our bodies hold on to it a little tighter, making the weight loss a little slower.

Does this help? Or am I just sounding kind of silly?! lol!

It is safe to lose 1-2% of your present body weight, weekly.

For a 500 pound person, this is 500 x .01 = 5 pounds to lose the next week. That person must recalculate weekly, so the following week would be 495 x .01= 4.9 pounds.

These are 1%, but it is safe to lose 2% weekly, so double that 1st answer.

For a 150 pound person, figure 150 x .01= 1.5 pounds the following week. The recalculation for the next week would be 148.5 x .01.

I'm SURE that could be said an easier way-- Patty! Others! Help me out!
Hi Susan...this is very helpful!! I didnt know this. Now when I get on the scale I wont be pouting like a brat because I didn't lose 5 lbs in a week...lol

thanks alot

Hi Patty...no you don't sound silly at all; actually you and Susan have been very helpful to me!! Like I just mentioned to Susan; now when I get on the scale I won't be pouting like a brat because I didn't lose 5 lbs that week...lol

Also you are right about saying...the weight will stay off if i lose it slowly...thanks Patty!

Way to go!!! That is so wonderful!!!

I really do believe that the water and the zig zagging are key to the loss. I do the zig zagging all the time now, and on days when I don't get the water in..I see it on the scale! It is great that you have found what works for you!!

Look out, cause I bet you are going to be kicking some weight's behind now!! lol!! You will be at your goal in no time!!! Woo Hoooo!!!!

That is fantastic. ..I am going to try that KLB-5 you talked about. That seems to be my biggest problem is the stored fat areas. It sounds strange but my thighs are actually two different sizes!!! Not sure how that happened, it's not like I only use one leg to exercise with!! . everyone has provided great information and thanks for that I am going to use it!.

Miranda how do you loose Candida Albicans ? does your friend know?? Do Tell???

its true we all want that Fast Miriacle weight loss..but once again in watching "the doctors" today there was this bride that lost 50 pounds in 11 weeks and died from electrolite loss or something 5 pounds a week is too much to ask our bodies to do so like everyone is saying a pound a week or even 2 is the safest and healthies and will stay off the longest....

think of one pound of chop meat its nothing to laugh at i wouldn't mind consistantly losing a pound a week till goal
