I decided to read up on Candida Albicans..which is a type of yeast infection..it is fed by sugar in the diet the following is a list of foods to stay away from...per the article..

Yogurt (read if yours has sugar in it)
honey
maple syrup
alcohol
fruit juices and fruits high in sugar (berries are ok, apples, cantalope, peaches, grapefruit)
potatoes


Interesting article ....I read once that consider sugar as poisen to your body...not sure where probably on the atkins site when i was on atkins..

also stop adding salt to your food...there is enough salt in what we eat ...we should not be adding any more (for our hearts sake)

My weight loss seems to be all over the place the closer I get to goal. Week before last I lost 3.2 pounds so it was a great week and yesterday I weighed in for my weekly weigh in and only lost 1 pounds. So it seems it's just not predictable the closer I get to my goal. I'm at 170.6 pounds right now and my goal is 150 so I just keep doing what I know I should be and try to be patient even though it's very hard. I'm trying zig zagging to like Patty suggested and I'm hoping that will help get me going again and get to my goal hopefully by April at least but i'd really like to get there before then.

Since Friday I ate higher than usual in calories...nothing too bad my biggest treat was a snack size mounds on halloween..i ate the top of a veggie pizza..

And Monday im back to fruit, veggies and protein..and complex carbs...so hopefully maybe...I'll see some action my way on the scale..will keep you posted...
