Just wondering...because its kind of scary that all im reading are people coming back trying again because once they stopped taking Phen they gained their weight back....

I know every diet is what you do with it...and thats what scares me...I've lost and gained so many times..i want to finally find a way of life that i can stick to...and i know i can't take these pills forever...

So Im asking if anyone has gotten to their goal and stopped taking phen and is now maintaining their weight for longer than a year???

I know it seems kind of intimidating, but I KNOW that Susan has met her goal and kept it off as well as a few others.

That is why it is so important that we make this a way of life instead of a diet. The changes that we are making have to be ones that we can live with for the rest of our lives. It is irritating to think that I will have to watch everything I eat for the next umpteen years, but worth the effort if I can maintain my goal weight once I get there.

Hey Carol, my good friend took Phen last year, she dropped 104lbs and has kept it all off for almost 1 year now.

It is very possible to lose on any diet but the trick is that we must substitute healthy foods and re-teach ourselves what good nutrition really is, for the long haul.

You hit the nail right on the head with that comment. All my cookie issues aside, I have regained and relost another 5 pounds yearly, especially after the holidays, but seems I can swing back within a month or so.

I am NOW in my swing phase once again. I couldn't do it alone; I need y'all's words to keep me on the straight and narrow, for SURE.

Here's what I did:

Thanks everyone...I know its what i decide to put in my mouth that will make me gain, maintain or loose...Im just so scared to go back up once again...

I guess i just wanted to make sure the drugs once off do not make us gain....I saw my daughters girlfriend loose so much fast and then i just saw her Saturday for the first time in months and she said she gained 20 lbs in 6 months and swears she's not eating junk food...she stopped taking phen about 6 months ago...

glad to hear that your gain has only been 5 pounds..thats why im giving myself that 5 pound lower the doctor said to get down to 130 i say 125 and never go over 130 again...Thanks for the encouragement..

If you cut down too much on calories-anything less than 1,000 calories- your body adjusts to a slow metabolism in order to save what fat there is on you, in order to survive.

There was a medical study done of older or injured folks that at least 1,100 calories are needed simply keeping our body processes going--
You are doing SO well....hang in there!

Hi All,

I am also the one who has taken Phentermine and lost many inches. I was able to keep off the weight, but have to maintain a balance diet.Phen is not a weight loss pill, it helps us in loosing weight with other methods we need to take.It make the process of weight loss easy.
