This recipe has been with me for YEARS!!! I used to go to the gym with my Mama when I was about 10 years old and they sold these drinks.... and I always got my Mama to buy one for us to share.... she would always say, "I wonder what's in these drinks... they are so good". So one day I was standing there with the lady who mixed them up and I watched her.... I went and told my Mama, "ok she put in orange juice, then a banana, then some ice and she blended it... then as it was still going she dripped some honey into the blender and then a scoop of powder." We found out that it was protein powder but the rest of the recipe was just as I told her.

So here goes.... great breakfast drink!!!

1/2 Cup orange juice
1 medium banana
6-8 ice cubes
Put into blender and blend well..... open the hole in the lid and drizzle about 1-2 tsp honey into the blender.... allow to mix well.... throw in an egg white or protein powder if you wish. Make sure it's thick and icy.. if not thick then add 2 more ice cubes till desired consistency

Thanks Kimber! I am gonna try it because I have just got so tired of everything I eat and drink, I think it is part of the reason I have been slacking lately.

MaryEllen, are you pulling my leg?? A salmon smoothie? I don't know if I even want to know about that. Do you actually put salmon in it? I would think it might be fishy but who knows, you got me hooked on the V8 Fusion and I never thought in a million years I would drink V8.
