do you mean tendinitis? Ive never heard of tendinidous. when you exercise your wrists they will usally hurt alot, normaly this is when your suppost to stop but I have found that in order to correct the core problem it's better to push through it and finish you wrist workour. there are 4 exercises that have worked well.
just some background I used to do kung fu at the temple and hand strenght was one of the most important muscles.

for at home, find yourself a 2 inch wide tube put a hole in the center of it, next string a rope throught it and tie a weight to the end.
