All the time I hear "eat healthy and exercise and you will lose that weight", so I thought I would give it a try.

I have been doing that for 2-3 weeks and I have not dropped a bit of weight. I am not concerned about what the scale says, I am more concerned about how I look. And I haven't seen a change in that either. :(

Anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Some info incase it helps.
Age: 16
Sex: Male
Height: 5'10 or 5'11
Weight: 181 (this is target weight by some sources, but isn't the case here)
Bone sructure: Very thin
Eating 1000-1500 calories a day, burning 2000-2500 per day (this is according to fitday.com)
Drinking plenty of water (At least 4 cups a day)
Walking 40+ minutes a day
Lifting light weights (20 pounds)

My weight (unclothed) fluctuates between 180 and 181.. thats probably all the water I drink.

I hear doing this you should be able to lose 2-3 pounds per week. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?! From every angle this looks good on paper... but no results.
((Also, I cannot jog or run because I have flat feet and "exercise-induced asthma" I tried to jog a few minutes a day and got shin splints after the first 2 days))

Any reason why you're lifting low weights? Have you tried using elliptical trainers or the rowing machines to bump up the intensity of your cardio?

Keep in mind that it generally can take up to 12 weeks to really start noticing a difference in weight or composition.
