So my husband got me this heart rate watch. And now I am obssessed with tracking it while I workout.

My question is this. The phen raises my resting heart rate about 10 beats per minute (okay - and I drink coffee & green tea).

Does my new target heart rate for fat burning increase as well? Or do I just look at it as more of a range and just stop freaking about it. (take off the watch)

Make sense?

If your heart rate is already elevated 10 bpm then just take that into consideration when exercising. First of all you need to calculate your approximate Maximum Heart Rate which is found by subtracting your age from the number 220. Now, you should then keep your heart rate between 55-85% of your maximum heart rate while exercising. And then...voila!
