Anyone know how to get rid of flabby arms? Never had them before and I'm freaking out!

Get some small dumb bells and start lifting them, and doing curls and such things like that. I have some and they are GREAT for that!
Push-ups are very good too! Start out with the "womens" first if the mens are to hard for you, and work your way up.
Good Luck!

Thanx Amanda,
I am so not happy with my arms! Well, I'm not real happy w/ my thighs, tummy, butt or boobs <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253F partner%253DZSzeb008%255FZFYYYYYYYYUS%2526i%253D36 %252F36%255F1%255F4%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank">
but I'm trying to focus on one thing at a time so I don't get to discouraged!

Have a great day!

If it's your triceps you're worried about (a problem area for most women), DIPS are probably the best exercise out there.

Here's a link that kinda describes it:

http://exercise.about.com/b/a/106218.htm

In the classes I take, we do them with our arms on the Step and our feet on the floor... this 2 bench thing looks crazy to me!

Important caveat: keep your bum as close to the Step (or surface you're dipping from like a chair) as possible or you could mess up your rotator cuff. As you get better at them, you can do it with just one foot on the ground.

Good luck!

Ellen

PS: More thoughts! If you do take up weights, etc, be sure you are working multiple parts of the arm... for biceps do hammer curls and regular curls etc. And dont' forget the shoulders!

While I can't deny that the ladies that answered before me are truly exceptional and lovely ...they are wrong in a way. On of the biggest myths is something called spot reduction. For instance, we've all heard this... You got a flabby tummy? Well, then do crunches and sit-ups until the cows come home. If it were only that simple, by concentrating your efforts to that one area, one is not able to reduce fat in that specific spot. It is impossible. Fat loss is universal across the body. So, the best advice is to either lift weights intensely for a lot of reps in order to get that heart rate up or do some cardio. Or both. You have to burn the fat that sits on top of the muscle and just doing dips or pushups isn't going to help. So, once again ladies...

P.S.....don't hate me

Remember, you can only get rid of the fat by elevating the heart rate and burning more calories. Just doing crunches for your tummy or pushups for your arms is not going to get rid of the fat that sits on top of the respective muscle you are strengthening.
