Okay, so I finally took the time and jumped in and cleaned out my closet today. Out with the old, and in with the new!

I filled 7 large garbage bags with clothes I got rid of....Stuff, I had kept for years! All gone....

Cody says, gee Mom your closet is empty now!

I told him if all my big clothes were gone for good, I would never again be able to gain weight, as I would have nothing to wear!

I have ten more pounds to go now, before I get to go on my big shopping spree for my new clothes! I don't want to have to buy anything bigger than a size 10.

Kimber, you have lost to your goal and maintained for awhile, how long does it take your brain to catch up that body is actually thin now! It is strange but in my brain, in many ways I still feel heavy. Make sense?????
It is like parts of my brain, have not realized that I am not a fat girl anymore!
Maybe I am just weird!

Laurie

Jazzy,
I did keep one pair of jeans in my closet today that no longer fit, they were a pair of 18's that I had worn several years ago. I kept them as a reminder of where I came from! I put them on over of my shorts today and they swallowed me. My son got a great laugh out of it!

I catch my reflection some times and still can't believe it is me! Hopefully my brain will figure it out soon and know that girl of the past is gone for good!

WOOOO HOOOO Laurie!!! That's the best feeling isn't it?? Getting rid of the fat clothes! YOU GO GIRLIE I only kept 1 pair of pants to look at and say WOW.... exercise more because you don't want to fit into these! lol I'm thinking about hanging them inside my closet so I always see them! I have been at my goal weight for 6 months and I still sometimes look at clothes and think, "way too small".. then try on a size larger and it's huge on me... then go to the size I had and it fits perfect... so weird! My brain still doesn't know what size clothes i wear
