Oh girl we have an elliptical machine and a treadmill (space saver one that you can fold the ramp up but its in our garage so it doesnt matter space wise)..... and I love love love my elliptical. I can get on it and burn a ton of calories in a way small time. I can do an hour on the treadmill and/or do 15-20 minutes on the elliptical and burn the same amount of calories!! I swear by my elliptical! BUT I think its a matter of personal preference....

All very good information ladies!! I haven't made my purchase yet and still don't know which way I want to go. I know eventually I'll have them all, as I want the variety here at home. Wonder if I can talk hubby into just setting up the whole room for me now? Then I wouldn't have to make any decisions!

I personally love elipticals. They burn calories faster, its rythmic so I don't have the urge to stop, and it doesn't hurt.

I have a treadmill and dumbbells at home. I would like one of those "RED" ab things, or a total gym. About your fear of gyms, that's a really common misconception. You are worried that people are gawking at you, but they are really not. Haven't you ever seen the guys that are standing there flexing their muscles in the mirror, they aren't looking at you - they just care about them. That's what I been told anyway. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Hahaha that's true! They do look at themselves a lot, and so seriously.....please! I have no use for a man that looks at himself in the mirror more than I do.....they make me suspicious! haha

Hi Everyone, Can I ask - what's a gazelle? Sound popular but I've not heard of one before (maybe it's called something else in the UK).
Thanks

I just bought a new home it will be 2 years In May I turned my sun room into a gym.( I will post a pic on my profile of the mini gym)

I have a hot tub, treadmill a lateral stepper a stationary bike ab roller jump rope, The blue ball ,Ab doer Xtreme, 8pound weights.

Now Before I started the Phen I was in there maybe 4 times a month I been on Phen for 9 days and I have been in there everyday If only for 45 mins of the stationary bike or treadmill, or the jump rope.

My thing is motivation And joining the site as I read others and their success stories keeps me motivated .

I'd love to get a personal trainer that will do house calls but here in Fla it seems to be hard to find,Or they cost more than a gym would charge.
