I have the Polar F6 in the new "black diamond" color. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

and thank you for the compliment on me an my baby. I actually have twins

and rae, a HRM is much better than the ones on the machines because those really just give an estimate on what "your" heart rate would probably be based upon your weight. But we all know fitness levels are different in everyone.


the HRM has a strap thing you put around your chest (not big and bulky, no more intrusive than your sports bra) it actually keeps track of your ACTUAL heartrate. Then theres a watch type thing you wear on your wrist. most of them track your heart rate, tell your approx how many cals you've actually burned, etc.

mine even has an option where i can download my workouts to my comp. and/or itll store all my workout info so i can review it over time

I would def recommend the model I have to anyone!

LOL i was like what an HRM okay; well I don't own one but seems like it would be beneficial. I have been using the site.. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to tell me where and how many calories I have burned throughout the week. it has a chart and what not. I like have a visual perspective; on how many calories are coming from the fat, carbs etc...
