just a few tips my trainer gave me yesterday..most of you already know this, i'm sure. but if you don't it's great advice!
*do cardio for 10-15 minutes before your workout just to get your heartrate up. do your circuit or whatever workout you prefer. then, finish with more cardio. when you do that you get your heart rate up, keep it up during exercise also getting into the fat storage. then, when you do cardio after your workout you're getting even "deeper" into the fat helping burn it off faster.
*when a weight workout becomes easier, increase reps before increasing weight because that will help get the fat off the muscle instead of "bulking up"
*for a great ab work out - find an incline/decline bench that has the leg holders [i'm sure there's a technical word, just not sure of it!!] place your legs into the holders & go back about half way, don't lie down completey. find a place on the wall to look at, use a medicine ball[i started with a 4lb] & rotate your body side to side keeping your body halfway elevated & your eyes on the same spot because if not, you'll become very dizzy. do 2 sets of 50 reps...50 per side!!! it's a great ab workout & she guaranteed me it would melt inches away..FAST!!!

just a little advice! =)

Thanks Ash, that was nice of you to post this. I am taking the day off tomorrow to go to an event later in the day, but I will be going to the gym after I drop my kids off at school.
I'm going to take my time and do as you suggested.

Thanks - d.
