Wow, it is awsome to see so many walkers. I usually meditate and prey when I walk.
I have never been a runner... Asthma and all.
Nicho, I am sorry for the loss of your mom. And I go not think it strange to walk where you fee you can connect with her. Actually that is very sweet, and touching.
God bless you.

So every morning I go to her resting spot and like to think I take her with me, and I walk up and down the whole cemetary. It is a great walk! it is quiet and I get a great up hill walk too. Plus I like to think that it is spending time with my mom.
That is very sweet and touching. I almost I've never heard anyone say anything like that before but, it makes complete since, and probably is comforting for you. Good luck with your journey. ttyl c.c.

I completely understand what you mean about feeling closer to your mom where she is buried. My nana (my dads mom) and I were very close and now like 16 years later I still go to where she is buried and sit and talk to her. I am sure people think I am crazy but you know what the hell, it makes me feel better about her being gone even till this day!! I tell her about my life and everything that is going on with it. I never thought about walking up there but it would be a great place to do it. Where I live at in WV we really dont' have a great place to walk so I think when I go home this weekend I will go up to the cementery talk to my nana and have a nice quiet walk! Thanks for the great advice!

I didn't think about this last night!! There is a series of work out dvds that are pretty much just walking in place among other things lol!! But the lady that does them is Leslie Sanos (prob spelling that wrong)! She has several work out videos even has a series of christian work out videos that are done to christian music and she witnesses some in them also! She is very pleasant to watch and is encouraging!! She does the videos from 1 mile to I think 3 miles!! I have a few and love them but don't do them enough!! I have bought them at walmart but have seen them at Target also!! Thought maybe you would be interested.

Thanks Tiff I am interested. I do most or all of my walking outside but take christian music with me. I will definately go to walmart.com and check them out. So I am curious......how do you do it in your home though? walk in place maybe? Are they boring or do you really work up a sweat? Anyway thanks for the suggestions, I will definately check them out.

Walking for charity is a great idea Birdgirl! That is very sweet of you. And I never thought about doing that. But it gives you a great reason to get off the couch and do something for someone else.
You are my Hero today! =)
