I would love to say one way or another whether or not I think this is a realistic goal for you, I can't. Optimistically, yes, it is doable. But you will really have to work hard to get to that number, and if you don't are you going to get discouraged? Or by setting a higher number will that be a strong motivation for you to work at it really hard?
I have been on and off phen for the 4 or 5 months now (my dr has me on phen for 42 days and off for 30 days). I am on my second round of off for 30 days right now. I have lost a total of 31.9 lbs. I am using a 1200 calorie diet and exercising for a minimum of 30 minutes 4 or 5 days a week normally. I very rarely stray from this. I also only drink water now, at least 100 oz per day.
My big thing to keep me motivated and not get discouraged when the loss slows down is to set little goals for myself. Then I don't feel quite so overwhelmed with something that I don't think I can do. Reaching a smaller goal is a great motivator and can be changed whenever you feel it is time.
So, I guess what I am trying to say is that you shouldn't let yourself get too worked up about setting a goal for yourself. Start small and go from there. Especially if in the past you have found that not reaching that goal has discouraged you from staying on track.
Baby steps sometimes are the only way to go. You will get where you are going regardless of whether you take little steps or big ones. You just have to stay on the path!
Good luck! Let us know how you are doing!
