I have been so bad the last two days....not one minute of exercise other than working on the farm which has been keeping me very busy, at least yesterday....I have no excuse for Sunday...it was simply a lazy day!

Hopefully I will turn it around today and get some time to do something worth while in the exercise department, either with the Wii or the Gazelle, I don't care which, I just need to get it done! lol!

And, Carol....I think it sounds to me like you have been staying busy too, so I wouldn't worry about it!! You are doing a great job! I think that this time of year is hard on cravings because there are so many things out there that we only see this time of year. And with the weather cooling off, it makes it easier to want to cook and bake more to warm the house up!!

We all know that we are going into the hardest time of year to keep up with our diets and exercise, so don't beat yourselves up for those little "fallbacks" that we may have...just dust yourself off and move forward! And keep in touch here for all the moral support we can get!! Heaven knows we will probably need it!!

hi Patty thanks for the compliment!! And I sure needed to hear those encouraging words about the holidays coming up; girl I get weak during this time of the year....but I will dust myself off and move forward like you said

And doing farm work is exercise Patty!! and you know we are entitled to be lazy sometimes

Patty, I was just speaking with a friend a few days ago, when I wasnt loosing weight. She reminded me that when we work out we need to eat a few more calories then our normal restricted, otherwise body goes starvation. I dunno why our bodies are soo complicated. She told me her personal trainer advised her to eat a snack thats contains a decent level of protein right after a workout. I dunno if you are already doing that, but its worth a try! It helps rebuild and grow muscle, and u are getting those few extra calories. Since your body keeps burning after your workout it needs a new "log" to the fire. Also try upping your water. I notice when I drink more then 100oz or about 120oz I seem to loose. Usually when you work out, you sweat loosing water, so trying that could help... You're doing awesome even if the scale isn't moving, its great for your heart
Hi Jenna this is some good advice lady!! and the cold rainy weather make you want to sleep and do absolutely nothing ....

Well, I was gone all day yesterday...first delivering a load of hogs to market which took up half the day, and the rest of the day doing chores and making up for the fact that I was gone all morning! lol!! So needless to say, I did not get any regular exercising done. I am slacking really badly this week in that area.

I only have about one week left of being off the phen and hopefully I get back on track with the exercise before I go back on. I am really going to have to kick myself in the rear and JUST DO IT!!

Have a good day all!

hi everyone!! i have been exercising just too busy to post. since my last posting which i believe was nov 3 i think. i've been doing 20-30 minutes each day; except today though. i know that's not lot but i've been so busy that i just had to do something than nothing. i weighed in today and i was very scared to get on that scale (it's amazing how we let that thing control us...haha!!) i am pleased with the results! still have more to go and a lifetime to KEEP it off!! i'm going to bed ya'll...i'm sleepy! will be back tomorrow. hope you all have a wonderful night

been slacking on the exercise but roaring to go today

Mzcris Wow you look great....great pic!

Up early this sunday morning and did double the reps on my pilates ropes..did some hand weights and think i will do some lunges while waiting for my decaf to brew

going to take my pill later in the morning as suggested by nicgirl..

going to see the 130's if it kills me this week..

Halloween i had a snake size mound bar (my favorite) you would have thought that it was 1,00000 million dollar chocolate bar the way i was savoring it ha!

my husband gave out the candy and i walked the neighborhood w/my grandson

feeling good about restarting my commitment to eating right and walking more..10,000 steps a day they say...thinking of getting a pedometer and stepping it up

We should have a holiday challange where we post what we eat daily so as to keep away from the pies and support each other thru the candy canes etc ....let me know if you want me to start a thread for that..

Today has been another busy one...man this farm work is keeping me on my toes lately...and trying to get things done in the house....I feel like I am just running around in circles!! I did some exercise on the Gazelle, but honestly it was only for about 10 minutes while I was waiting for th washing machine to catch up with me! lolo!!

I have been helping get bales moved in from the field and winter rye planted...never ends!! Bad thing about all that is that it requires me sitting on my behind on the tractor!! lol!!

Well, I have to get some potatoes and brownies made to take to the 4H potluck tonight. And I still have to make sure the laundry is done so my oldest son has clean gym clothes for tomarrow morning!!

Whew!
