WAY TO GO GEORGIATEACHER AND JENNABUG!!!!! What an awesome job everyone is doing!! I am so glad to see you all join in this challenge!!!

Exercise is such a good frustration release too!!! When I get really upset with hubby, I head down to the basement and just go to town on the Gazelle!!! I don't know if it is because of the isolation is making me calmer, but I am pretty sure it is the exercise!! Works the same when the kids are playing on my last nerve!! Can't yell at them when I am out of breath from exercising!!! lol!!

Well, jenna, I have four....oldest son is 12, next son is 11, and twin girls who are almost 9......they know where my last nerve is and are not afraid to use it!!!! The only good thing about it is that it does give me a great excuse to go down and exercise until they quit being stinkers! lol!!

Everyone is content on this rainy day right now, and the laundry is ready to be switched around...again...so I am going to sneak down there and hopefully get some exercise on the Gazelle done before they realize where I am....have you ever tried to exercise with kids sitting on the step trying to make conversation with you??? It is not an easy task, let me tell you!!!

Good job, nicgirl!! Anytime we can sneak some in it helps!!!

I get my "gold star" for the day...just spent 35 minutes on the Gazelle, and according to the monitor on it, that equalled 285 calories burned, and 2.5 miles walked. Whew!! I worked up a good sweat, I know that!!! Kids didn't find me because I had the cd player turned down so they couldn't hear me jamming out to REO Speedwagon!! (I was singing along in my head in order not to alert them to where I was! lol!)

GeorgiaTeacher...i don't know about you but 30 minutes of basketball sure would be exercise for me

Mzcris...I think as mothers we all forget to put our selves first...but your right we're better when we do

today I walked my dog around Walgreens for 2 hrs. waiting for a Van to come and give her her rabie vaccine...in the hot sun...wasn't fun....I did my pilates ropes two times at 10 min each...

today i realized that my jeans went up without me having to do the "jean dance"

Ahhh, the good ole days when we had to lay down on the bed in order to get our jeans buttoned and zipped!! lol!!! Now my biggest problem is making sure I have my belt on so that I don't lose them!!! I absolutely refuse to buy any new ones until I get to my goal....thank goodness for that belt...a very wise investment on my part!! (was a whole $5.00 on clearance, and is clear so that it goes with everything! lol!) I kind of miss the jeans dance, though....ok not really, but maybe just a little bit! lol!!

You are doing great Carol!! Walking around with the pup was a good thing....although I'm sure you could have done without the hot sun part! lol! I don't know what the pilates rope is though, could you tell me more about it? I am always looking for new and fun things to do...I just got that new thing called "the wave" that is like a curved step that you rock on while doing a form of aerobics. It is kind of fun, and you can really feel it the next day. I am horrible because I am always throwing new stuff in there, and never stay with the same thing for long....I have the Gazelle, Wii EA Active, Ab Circle Pro, several dance videos and now the wave. I think maybe I have adult Attention Deficit!! Or as my hubby puts it..."never happy!"
