I started taking Phentermine today. My doctor prescribed Phentermine and Xenical. I won't be starting the Xenical for another month. Anyone else taking this combo?

I am currently 246 pounds (after losing 27 pounds through diet and exercise.) Since I am so large, how fast can I expect to lose? I have seen other postings where people smaller than me are losing 50 pounds in 3 months. Is that right? That seems amazing! Can it be kept off after stopping the Phentermine?

I am hoping this works for me. I definately saw a difference in my hunger today. I ate about 1/3 of what I normally ate. Mostly I ate all fruits and veggies. I made sure to eat several small meals as I have read that it is important to do even if you are not hungry.

I am very thirsty and drinking lots of water.

Any advice and info is greatly appreciated! :grin:

Welcome to the forum! This place is full of information on phen and various weight loss methods. It sounds like you are off to a great start! I dont know anything about Xenical except for what I have heard about having unplanned and often uncontrollable oily orange colored stool-which sounds bad but I think that happens when you eat too much fat--but dont take my word for it because I dont know any real facts on this. Phen will definately make you thirsty--but that is great because water is very good for you! Good luck with the rest of you weight loss and I am looking forward to reading more post from you.

And it can happen if you aren't careful. My DH was on this for awhile and that is why he stopped.

If your eating a whole lot of fatty foods expect that but if your just eating alot of food then it won't be to bad.
