Hi to all. I just found the site and joined. I started Phentermine (37.5 mg) in June and so far I've lost about 30 lbs. between the appetite control and excercise (I jog 2-3 times a week about 2 miles). Side effects in the beginning were the usual, jittery, dry mouth, irritable, etc. After a few days they pretty much wore off. I was visiting the doc monthly and on the 2nd visit due to an appetite he added Phendimetrazine (35 mg) - 2/day with 1 Phentermine. Since then with his approval I've cut back to 1 each per day. Some days I just do the 1 Phentermine.
All has been well lately except for about the last week I've had cold sensations with my hands. I have had thyroid issues in the past but a blood test this week indicated normal T levels for the hormones (cold hands are a symptom of hypo-thyroid). My endocronologist knows of the Phentermine and doesn't seem concerned. My weight loss doc knows about the past thyroid and isn't concerned - possibly due to the $100 he gets each month!!
The sensation isn't constant but it does seem to go away when I'm jogging and have my blood pumping. My blood pressure is normally very good in the 100+/20+ range.
Has anyone else experienced this?
