Hi,
My name is Amber and I am trying to lose wieght i have been struggling for years now. After I had my son back in 2002 i started birth control and it was the shot and i just gained weight like crazy and now i stop taking it for a year and havent lost the wieght. I started phen. two weeks ago and lost 3 pounds. I am looking for any type of support any one can offer ideas of any kind. I have notice i am very emotional on the pills. I get very upset were i am about to just burst out crying and then i just get angry for no reason. Does any one have any ideas on how to treat the problem. Well I have to go for now. Be great to hear from people.
Thanks
Amber

Welcome to the forum. I had the same side effects. Now that I have been on Phen for 3 weeks it is subsiding. Those first couple of weeks I was really emotional. Did not help that it was that time of month. Is yours close? Give it a little more time and it should not make you so emotional anymore.

amber,
Have your emotions calmed down at all? Are you feeling better on the phen than you were before? Have you lost any more weight?

Are you following any particular diet or exercise regimine?

Thanks for asking. This is what happened I started taking the pills like a month ago then i quit after 2 1/2 weeks because i thought they were the one recalled. So it was like almost 2 weeks before i took them again and i just started monday and everything seems to be going well i dont really have any of the side effects. The only thing i have is that i am more tired. But that could also be from my job because i am basically bored all day and just think of the things i could be doing instead. But i am trying to look for a new job so hopefully i will find one that is more active. I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and he always keeps me going when i get home plus my boyfriend has exercise equipment and i work out on that. So hopefully i will start to see some results. the first two weeks that i was on phen i didnt lose anything but felt great about my self except for my mood swings. But now i havent wieghed my self since tuesday and hopefully i will stay away from the scale. I will get depressed and stop doing what i am doing now. Well I have to go for now . Have a great day. :smt031

Isn't that strange? I had the same thing, but I thought maybe it was just me. After the first 2 or 3 days were I felt wired, then for the next 2 weeks I was yawning all the time. Now that I have been on it for over 3 weeks, I am not experiencing that anymore. Thanks goodness!

Everyone told me that I would have SOOOOO much energy, I was getting worried at first because they opposite was happening. :-D
