Welcome! CN is absolutely right. This is a great place for advice and support. My first piece of advice is remember that you are not going on a diet. You are making a lifestyle change to allow you to be healthier and happier. If you look at it as a diet, it's hard. Don't try so hard that you burn yourself out. Allow yourself to enjoy your new life. Look for healthier ways to enjoy things you like instead of trying to give them up completely. I go to it everyday and it really helps. I know people think I sound like a commercial because I mention it so often, but it has helped me soooo much.
