I am new but I have been taking phentermine for 2 weeks, I was 200 pounds when I started. My doctor put me on 30mgm and I have experienced three of the known side effects, they are dry mouth sleeplessness and the headache. I notice the headache is worst if I am late taking the pill, kind of like a withdrawal headache, I had the first headache the second day on the pill because I had to remind myself to take the pill. I do not have this headache everyday. Today it is bad I am wondering if its because I took a benadryl last night to help me sleep.

Don't know about the benadryl but it's probably a good idea to talk to your doctor about any other medicines you may take so you will know if there is any interaction problems. Welcome to the Forum. We are all here for you. I started my diet 7 weeks ago at 264. I am down 18 pounds now. I am not taking any medications but the support and friendship here keeps me coming back evey day.
What are you doing for excercise. I have heard some people say that the headaches can be managed by drinking more water. Don't know if that's true, but it sure can't hurt. :?
