I'm new to PhenForum, and I'm looking forward to being part of this group. I was prescribed Phentermine 37.5mg to help with my postnatal weight loss. I am 5'5" tall and right now I weigh about 180lbs. I am being monitored by my doctor while on Phentermine, and I'm going to start taking it Saturday morning. I'm excited to see if it works, and hopefully to watch the weight begin to come off. I have been eating well, and need the energy to incorporate workouts into my plan. Hope to meet alot of you and to find support within this group.

Brandi

Congratulations on your new baby. I am very happy to hear that you are working with your doctor on this. That is definitely the best way. I just wanted to take a moment to welcome you. There are some really great people here and I am confident that when you need support you will find it here. I know I have.

Thanks Zoey! I have lost 8lbs on my own, but felt like I needed the extra help to get my BMI down, as well as get back into shape! Chasing a toddler will be no fun if I can't keep up!

No, but it is great excercise! I had two at the same time 13 months apart. It can be exhausting. Anyway, have you checked out any of those Mommy and Me excercise classes. Gosh, I don't even know if they still do that. Showing my age again!

It looks like we might be loosing the weight together. I am 5'4" and weigh 178lbs. I just stared my pills yesterday & I feel pretty good. I was scared a little bit to start after reading some of the horror stories, but I don't seem to be having any "crazy" side effects. But, they say to drink a lot of water and I have done that, but be ready to have no hunger whatsoever! My problem is, even though I'm not hungry, I still think about food all of the time. I haven't had a huge burst of energy yet, but it was very hard to sleep last night. I tossed and turned and couldn't wait for the night to be over with. Other than that, I feel a little "loopy", but I am not "jittery" which is how I thought that I would be. And, I haven't had the bad headaches that everyone talks about. Hopefully the pills work for both of us!

Congratualtions on the new baby! Good luck to both of us!

I hope you guys find this forum helpful.

I like it because there are not as confusing as some of the other groups i tried. I was on the yahoo groups and although there are a lot of people there it is hard to keep up with the conversation.

Good luck and keep everyone posted on your progress.

I realize having lots of visitors to their sites make them more profitable and I'm sure Ian would like to see alot more people here, but unless you are checking it constantly it really is hard to keep up. Plus it seems people start dividing up into little groups and that counteracts the whole purpose!

brookey,

Loopy. That's a great word for how I've been feeling since starting on phentermine.

Welcome to both you and Bradileah!

Happy weight loss
