I have just ordered phentermine, does any one know if this is the same as fen fen? I am 225lbs and 5'2. I have been overweight for 12 years, I am 32. It has been a long battle trying to lose weight. I have bee on fen fen and have gone to weight watchers, my weight has been up and down. I am an emotional eater and under alot of stress. This forum seemed very informative and I am very grateful for it. I have alot of weight to lose and from what I understand this pill only works for a little bit. I have downloaded the information and will try to incorporate it with the phentermine. thanks again for all the great info.

Hi Diamond Sounds like you're gaols are alot like mine. I am 5'3" and started my weightloss program 8 weeks ago at 264.I am now at 241, so I'm pretty excited about it. From what I understand Phentermine is one half of the original PhenFen. You didn't have any health problems from raking that did you. Well, I can't really help much with the questions about Phen. I don't use any kind of medication. Welcome to the Forum and if we can help you just let us know and we will ceratainly try.

Welcome to the club diamondgirl. I started recently too and have found a great support system here, I know you will too. If you haven't yet I reccomend the diary forum, it's a nice way to vent and track your progress. As far as the fen fen thing, I don't for sure but I doubt it because that was pulled from the market wasn't it? I was concerned about losing fast and gaining back all the weight while on this but really it is helping me to make better choices and giving me the kick start I needed. Hopefully it will do the same for you.

I believe Phen Phen had ephedra and something else and that is why it was pulled of the market. Phentermine is just what Zoey said half of what phen phen used to be.
