Hello Everyone- This is a wonderful site!! I have never seen such support and encouragement!! I am new to phen. I started just 2 days ago and so far am loving it!! I've had a weight problem all my life. I lost 60lbs 3 years ago (Metabolife) and kept it off until last Nov (2004) when I went on medication and gained back 30lbs. I am off the meds so my weight stabalized at 193. After 6 weeks of trying to "do good" on my own, I have lost 4 lbs!! I had a friend I haven't seen in 3 months and she had lost 17lbs on phen- that was it- I wanted to try it!! I turned 40 (July) this year -I have 3 kids (S-16;D-14;D-11)(who I haul all over creation); work part time and have wonderful husband who supports me unconditionally in all that I do. I am very active in my church; love to attend High School football games (my D #1 is JV Cheerleader) and am very devoted to my family. I can be a better mother/wife when I am happy with myself!! I am taking 37.5 (blue white tabs)- I break them in half and take half in the morning and the other half before I eat lunch (to ward off the late afternoon and evening munchies). I like that I have to make myself eat- I will do better when I am not rumaging around the kitchen snacking on whatever I find first. Thanks for all the information and support!! J-Lyn

Welcome! I feel for you. I also did my time with 3 kids. I'm now an empty nest mom. I miss them terribly, but at least now I can focus on me more. Just remember, to give your best to them you have to give your best to yourself. Good luck.
