Hi everyone, I'm brand spankin' new to this. My name is Monica, I'm 22 and I live in Buffalo. I'm a little under 5'2" and once upon a time during the ephedra crazy, I took EZ Tab Metabolife and
Stacker 3's, and weighed in at around 120-125 pounds.. and I never exercised. Oh, how I miss those days.
Anyway. They took ephedra off the shelf, and I was on Depo-Provera (the birth control shot, for those who dont know) for 2 and a half years, and I gained a good 30+ pounds. It made me hungry ALL the time (no lie), as in, I'd eat a full meal and then an hour later my stomach would growl like I hadnt eaten in days. Additionally, it made me depressed, and when I get sad, I tend to eat more. So, I got my last shot in July and am still waiting for the effects to wear off, but I've only dropped maybe 5-10 pounds (even with exercise) and thats it. All my cute jeans? Completely unwearable. Anyway, this is where I have questions:
1) I no longer have health insurance, and therefore cannot see a doctor to try and have
Phentermine prescribed to me. Even if I did, my physician (sp) was always against
diet drugs, even when he saw how much weight I gained on the Depo. So, do I need to see a doctor before ordering this?
2) If/When I get to a goal weight, do I stop using Phentermine, or gradually wean myself off of it?
I'm sorry if these have been asked before, I'm still poking around the site for the first time. Thanks!
