Oops, I posted this on another forum, didn't see this one sorry! Here it is again in the right place...

Hello all-

I've been reading alot of your posts and it is really encouraging to see so many people have had success with phentermine. I just started taking it yesterday - 37.5mg mg.

So far I love the energy rush it gives me, I've been drinking a ton of water (drank about 72 oz yesterday) but still am thirsty all the time. Getting to sleep wasn't too terrible last night - I expected worse. I normally have a terrible time falling asleep anyway, so I really didn't notice too much difference with taking the phentermine.

A little about me, I'm 31, 5' 6", and my weight as of yesterday was 192 pounds - ouch it is hard to admit that. I have struggled with my weight since I was about 20, have tried many diets and many weight loss products/pills. I even tried Xenical but it just didn't work for me. My biggest problem is I have very little will power when it comes to turning down food. I love food!

My goal is to loose 62 pounds. It seems like such an impossible task - that is so much weight! But I am hoping with the help of phentermine and with the support of people on this board I might just make it this time.

Welcome! I hope this site will offer you a lot of encouragement. One way to get people to communicate with you is to post to the people who post often to to WEIGHT LOSS FORUM. They are so nice and will usually write back to you. If you post to your own often, you can really get it going.
I wish you much success! How's it going so far?

happy to hear that at 31 you're getting a grip on
your weight problem. Hang in there and grab it
because it only gets worse the older you get!

Welcome to the board and congratulations on taking the first step to lose weight. As far as trying to lose 62 lbs. is concerned, don't think of it as 62 lbs. I am setting out to lose 72 lbs. and have lost 22 of them already. I try not to tell myself that I have 50 lbs. left. I just take it one day at a time because otherwise, I will get discouraged. So, it is going to be a long journey, but I think you can do it.

Good luck and keep us posted.
