My doctor prescribed me one 37.5mg tablet per day. What is the best way to take it? Someone told me to half it and take half in the morning and the other half late afternoon or should I just take one in the morning??? Help!!Oh and being a typical Brit (living in the states) I am a hot tea addict..will the caffiene in the tea affect the phentermine? My god...if I cant have my tea..its one thing being fat...but fat and miserable....eeekk

Hi oopsadaisy! And might I say welcome to the club.I am also a newbie here and with four sons it is hard for me to find the time to get online and read all the new posts.Anyhow,I am a caffiene addict myself..lol I can't really say that my caffiene intake has any bad effects on the Phen. I do notice however that my one and only cup of morning coffee tends to "kick" it in. Hope this info helps.

:smile: hello to all. I am new to the site as well. I just really want to caution all caffeine drinkers. it is a stimulant so yes, it will kick start the phentermine. You really do not want too much caffeine in your system. Sometimes the two together can cause headaches and/or nausea.

Just wanted to welcome all of you to Phen forum.

Your doctor didnt tell you how to take the one a day he prescribed? I have only taken phen once 4 yrs ago.....My doctor prescribed only a half in the mornings until I felt like I needed the other half......then he told me to take the second half before 2 pm so it wouldnt affect my sleep....Frankly I never found I need the second half so I ended up only ever taking a half a day. Perhaps you should call your doctor and ask him/her. Good luck
