Hello all, I am new here, I just started phentermine yesterday.
I am currentlu 5'11 and 260 lbs, I have been walking 4 miles a day during the week, and 6 miles on Sat and Sun, for the past 6 weeks, But i am being told by friend that walking is a waste, is this true? Do you think the phentermine will give me a boost with this exercise program?
I drink lots of water and have been eating mostly veggies, pasta once a week and whole grain bread. I just want to follow a routine and have the phentermine work to its full potnetial. Thansk

Hi! I am pretty new to phen but not to exercise. Ask yourself, do I feel better since I started walking? I am sure you will find the answer is yes. Your friend is wrong, walking is the quickest way for people to begin changing their lives from sedintary to active. It may not seem like much to some people, but it can really make a big difference. You are actually doing more than most people half your size! Congrats! I think phen will definately help you boost your metabolism, but do watch your heart rate when exercising after taking the phen. You should learn you max heart rate and try not to exceed that number. Also, your diet sounds perfect except you didn't mention your calorie intake. Do you count?

Goldie is right....Walking is never a waste of time but you should feel the rush when your done...its better than any pill I have ever taken...The exercise rush that is. Goldie's suggestion of learning your max heart rate is good advice ...you don't push yourself too hard when first starting phen... work into it slowly but you really should feel like you have exercised after your done. Get those endorphins (I think thats what they are called) flowing! Good luck!
