Hi there! I just first would like to say Wecome to all you newcomers! It's great to see new faces around. And since there seem to be 15 "newbies" everytime I turn around, it's so hard to keep up with you all! So just incase it takes me a while to swing by and say hi to you, Hi and Welcome!

This is a wonderful site to be a new member of! If you are just starting with the Phentermine, this site has some VERY informative information scattered throughout. Ian, the founder of the site, as provided some excellant reports that you should read. He has many, but one of the better one's that I personally think every person just starting on Phentermine should read, is his Tolerance Report... listed here...
http://www.phenterminereport.com/

If you have been on Phentermine for a while, or even if you are new, this site is a wonderful tool to help you along your weight loss journey. Here you will meet some fantastic new friends, get support and advice like you wouldn't believe, and learn many new things about Phentermine in general. I would recommend that you start your own journal, in our journals section. You will certainly be surprised by the feedback, help and support you get from all the other members.

With all that said, there is one unfortunate topic that I would like to comment on. This site is here to help those of us that need that extra support or information about Phentermine. It is NOT a site to come and bash people on. Ian, who like I said started this site, does recommend some online pharmacies that he has dealt with before. This does not mean that he works FOR them. Everything he does on here, he does because he cares about the people on here who truly need this. He can't control what all of these pharmacies does, and he can't help the shortages that these online pharmacies have. So please, don't attack him, and don't hold him responsible for things that go wrong when you deal with these online pharmacies. He and I both are here to help you if you have questions, or do need help.

Again, welcome to PhenForum, and I hope you enjoy it, and it's as much help to you as it has been to me!

Amanda

Hello everyone! Amanda, thanks for the welcome note. I am very happy to have come across this forum. I have not yet received my Phen (because it's on back order?) but I can't wait to begin my weight loss journey. I am 5'9" and 215lbs. I would love to weigh 180 pounds if possible. I currently wear a size 14- I would love to wear a ten. I really love reading about all the member success stories. So it is possible to maintain weight loss (with work, of course) if phen is stopped? There is hope  :-o ! Take care all, Ram

Ramavira- Yes I would say it's possible to maintain after Phen. I stopped taking it about 2 weeks ago. I just started it again today, but only because I was moving to another town last week and I didn't workout and I ate horribly and put a few lbs back on. I think though if I had stayed to my program I would have done great. SO yeah, I think it's totally possible. I wish you well and am glad you have joined us! Hope you get you Phentermine soon and please don't wait to get it before starting ajournal. All that help and support can start immediatetly!

HI Holly and welcome! You can get an avatar by going to your profile page, which is located at the top of the home page, and loading a picture up from there. It's pretty easy actually.
Yes, you will love this site. There are some amazing people here who are so motivating and supportive. Good Luck and please, Keep Us Posted!

Hi everyone! I am a new memeber and am not sure where to begin. Any advice and support is appreciated. I am 29 yrs. old, married and have two wonderful daughters (8 and 3). I do not know exactly when I let myself go, but somewhere in the hectic lifestyle of work, wife and mother I forgot to eat right and was too exhausted to workout. I am now a size 14 (that has even gotten tight) and weigh 179 lbs. I have bee on Phentermine for about 2 1/2 weeks. I have noticed a slight change, but nothing drastic. I have cut way back on how much I eat and have started doing Winsor Pilates. My first goal is to get to 160 lbs. - I would appreciate your help!

Sincerely,
Amanda

Hi Amanda, welcome to the site. I can see that we are going to have a bit of confusion here LMAO

Anyway, you were looking for help and advice right? Well one of the first things I would recommend is WATER! Lot's and lot's of water. As much as you can handle in a day. Seriously. Yes, you will run to the bathroom like crazy at first, but that's a good thing too.
Also, you mentioned that you had cut your food intake WAY back. How back did you cut it? It's best to get no less than 1000 calories a day. That does seem like alot since the phentermine makes you feel full all the time, but you HAVE to eat enough or your body just isn't getting the fuel it needs for energy. If you would please, let me know what kind and how much food you are eating in a day.
Pilates is good! My Doctor told me that only thing that was a MUST for him to prescribe the Phen to me was to exercise atleast 30 minutes 5 days a week. I ended up doing more, and eventually increased that as well. So exercise is a great great thing!

Keep me posted and Good Luck!
